My artistic vision

There is a quiet, breathless magic in the flight of European wildlife. From my home studio, I spend hours looking out at the natural world, completely captivated by the birds visiting the garden and the insects gliding through the air. While I love all flying creatures, birds hold a truly special place in my heart—there is something deeply moving about the texture of their feathers and the bright, knowing look in their eyes.

My obsession is the fine detail. Using pastel pencils, I work to capture the downy softness of a bird’s breast, the delicate veins of a bee's wing, and the living warmth of the wild. The rich, velvety texture of pastels allows me to blend intense colour with absolute precision, pouring hours of patience into every single stroke. When you look at my work, I want you to feel that connection to the living world—to bring that pocket of peace, wonder, and fresh air directly onto your walls.
